More disturbing was the lack of effort to provide <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abetteremergency.com\/blog\/2013\/08\/the-auto-injector-is-mightier-than-the-cruise-missile\/\">life-saving antidotes<\/a> and training to the medical community.  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.abetteremergency.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/horrifying-images-in-syria-after-what-may-have-been-the-worst-chemical-weapons-attack-in-decades.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.abetteremergency.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/horrifying-images-in-syria-after-what-may-have-been-the-worst-chemical-weapons-attack-in-decades-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"horrifying-images-in-syria-after-what-may-have-been-the-worst-chemical-weapons-attack-in-decades\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1097\" \/><\/a>  I am a firm believer that &#8220;antidote&#8221; is a good word and a better treatment option. It seems apparent that government was disinclined to offer any help until it was too late. Does the medical community have any options available to them to ensure global distribution of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abetteremergency.com\/blog\/classes-presentations-facilitation\/ems-focus-on-chemical-injuries\/\">knowledge, skills and abilities<\/a> necessary to provide care to patients exposed?   <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An article in the news today revealed there was considerable Intel on the use of chemical weapons against non-combatants in Syria.
